Biotech at the School Farm
Take a peek at some of our AgriScience students working with Dr. Randy Martin and John Hoffses at the school farm. The students have learned about making chemical solutions to be used in the agar of the test tubes. This week they pulled buds off of Beech tree branches, chemically treated them, and learned how to work in a sterilized environment. They have added the treated buds into the prepared test tubes to see if their buds will grow. Very interesting!
