FFA Activities
The Presque Isle FFA Chapter conducted a food drive to benefit the GIFT food pantry during the first two weeks in November. GIFT feeds approximately 36 needy families in our community each week. Our FFA chapter was able to collect 405 individual food items from the homerooms of Presque Isle High School to donate to this worthy cause. Mrs. Mortland’s homeroom donated the most items, with a total of 136, and was rewarded with donuts and juice during homeroom.
On Friday, November 16, twenty-eight of our Presque FFA members attended the Northern Leadership Workshop held at the Northeastland Hotel. They participated in team-building and leadership skill activities and were able to meet and interact with members of other northern region chapters.
