Radio Controlled Cletrac Crawler Project
So far this year we have not heard much from Mr. Harper’s Engineering Technology class. However, a lot of neat projects have been moving forward. One such project is the Radio Controlled Cletrac Crawler project. During this past semester, Gage Hammond-Smart and Chase Hentosh have been working to 3D print the components and assemble and install the electronics. Last week their creation moved under its power for the first time. The next step is 3D scanning one of our students to develop and print a 3D printed scale driver.
Both Chase and Gage are second-year students in Mr. Harper’s program. Chase has been accepted to the University of Maine for Mechanical Engineering and Gage has been accepted to the Northern Maine Community College Precision Machine program.
