Maine Forest & Logging Museum Design
A lot of neat projects are happening in Mr. Harper’s Drafting & Engineering class!
One project is the design of a proposed road for the Maine Forest & Logging Museum. Over the past few weeks Connor Rideout has been working hard developing numerous proposals and alternatives, integrating changes per the museum’s direction and developing the final design and a 3D model using Civil 3D and Infraworks.
Connor’s excellent work was used in a presentation to the museum’s Board of Directors and other stakeholders in the project. The proposed road is unique in that it is designed specifically for use by the museum’s collection of Lombard Log Haulers during living history events. Funded by a grant from the Stephen & Tabitha King Foundation, construction is slated to begin early this spring.
Way to go Connor!
