22/23 Quarter 1 Student of the Quarter
Mrs. McCurry’s student of the quarter is Brooke Emerson. Brooke is currently enrolled in Animal Science and Plant Sciences and has taken every course we offer over the past 3 years. Brooke has matured and developed into a very strong leader during her high school career. She serves as our FFA Chapter President and is very effective in that role. She attended our recent advisory board meeting and was extremely articulate and convincing with her participation. Brooke will be pursuing a career as a labor and delivery nurse next year and we are very sure that she will excel in that occupation. She is an exceptional student and we will miss her when she graduates!
Mrs. Gross’ student of the quarter is Demetrius Ortiz. Demi is a first-year student in Agricultural Sciences. He is a grade 10 science block member. Demi always enters the classrooms with a smile on his face and is ready to get to business. He has a kind heart and can often be seen helping other students that may need a little extra attention. Demi is an artist by nature and will be participating in the PIHS production of Cinderella in November. We cannot wait to see him perform! Keep working hard Demi!
The Farm Mechanics student of the quarter is Cameron Wilcox. Cameron has stepped up to the plate this year when it comes to starting and finishing projects. He figures out what needs to be completed and gets the job done. He is a respectful young man that has grown a lot through the years. Hopefully, he will take the knowledge that he has learned here and use it for the rest of his life. Best of luck in your future endeavors. Pick the best college that suits you and find a job that you enjoy that makes you lots of money!
