Mother’s Day Event
It’s Mother’s Day Weekend! Even though the Covid virus has put a damper on activities that students have been able to do this year, after months of planning the staff at PIRCTC and the School Farm have created kits for teachers to complete in their classrooms. The Early Childhood program chose two grade-level appropriate books that our FFA chapter then donated copies of to each classroom. The Early Childhood program also created an arts and craft activity that relates to each particular story. The CTE center office staff created coloring books and gifted each student with a pack of crayons and a copy of the coloring book. Staff at the School Farm donated pots, soil, and marigolds. To round out the event, various CTE classes helped to teach students how to transplant their flowers to give as a gift to a special someone in their lives.
